Who each one suits
Calculator#
Calculator# is a good fit if the calculator disguise matters to you. It is available now, hides more than photos (passwords, notes, contacts), supports cloud backup to several services and logs failed unlock attempts.
Sigil
Sigil suits people who want a vault focused on encrypted photos and files with a pattern unlock and no ad or analytics SDKs. Alternate app icons are planned for v1.1, so the calculator-style disguise is not at launch.
Price
Free to download, with ads and limitations, and in-app purchases. Listed on the US App Store on 2026-10-21: Yearly Subscription $4.99 and Premium Features Pack $4.99. The description says the paid version is a yearly plan at $4.99. Source
