The app
The app collects no personal data. There is no account and no sign-in. It contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK and no ads. Your files and keys stay on your iPhone. If you choose to share crash reports with developers in iOS settings, that is handled by Apple under Apple's own policy.
This website
The site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics at launch. Fonts and scripts are served from the site itself. If analytics is added later, this page will be updated first.
The site is served by a hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses under its own policy. Sigil does not add tracking on top of that.
The pre-order list
Sigil has no email list. When pre-order opens, the list of people who pre-ordered is held by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Sigil never receives it.
If you write to us
If you email hello@trysigil.app, we receive your address and your message and use them only to reply. You can ask us what we hold or ask us to delete it by writing to the same address.
